The purpose for this event is to bring the creative community downtown. Hear what it is like to be a creative at Geekdom from guest speaker Gabriel Garcia, from SA Creatives, and learn how he is curating a collaborative space for creatives in downtown San Antonio. And stick around after the screening for a Q&A from Adam Dusenbury, Creative Director of WCMG, Ken Anderlitch, and others.
Synopsis:
This documentary follows Kenneth Anderlitch, a man in long-term recovery who is attempting to run 840 miles across the state of Texas to raise awareness about addiction and inspire those who may be struggling with it themselves. Through breathtaking footage of the Texas landscape, interviews with Ken and his support team, and testimonials from people who have battled drug addiction, this documentary sheds light on the devastating effects of drug abuse and the transformative power of recovery.
