In celebration of Women’s History Month, Trinity University will host a special screening of Show Her the Money, including a panel and reception that explore the challenges underestimated founders face in raising venture capital and highlight both the founder journey and the perspectives of female investors shaping the future of entrepreneurship.
On Monday, March 16, 2026, the screening will be followed by a panel featuring Sharon Gless, award-winning actress known for Cagney & Lacey and Queer as Folk & Burn Notice, led by Dawn Lafreeda, President & CEO of Den-Tex Central, Inc. dba Denny’s Restaurants and largest female franchisee in the full service restuarant industry and Catherine Gray, executive producer of the film as well as CEO/Founder of She Angel Investors, Co-Founder of She Angels Foundation, keynote speaker, author, and host of the Invest in Her podcast.
This event is an official celebration of Women’s History Month at Trinity University and part of The Conversation at Trinity, an initiative dedicated to fostering thoughtful, constructive dialogue on campus. The screening aims to spark conversation about women entrepreneurs and persistent funding disparities in venture capital.
